An indoor international food hall with more than 40 family-run vendors under one roof, serving some of the most genuinely global food in Minneapolis. The market lives inside the landmark 1928 Sears building, the second-largest building in Minnesota after the Mall of America, with an Art Deco tower rising 16 stories over East Lake Street; Sears left in 1994 and the market opened in 2006. Open Monday through Saturday 10am to 8pm and Sunday 11am to 6pm, with individual vendor hours varying. Indoor and year-round, it is a perfect sober-friendly stop in any weather.
