A 132-acre park anchored by something genuinely surreal: a full-scale replica of the Athenian Parthenon, with a 42-foot gilded statue of Athena inside. Walk the lake loop, picnic on the lawn, catch a free outdoor event, then step into the Parthenon's art museum. The park is free; the Parthenon interior is a small admission. A calm, wide-open counterweight to a loud downtown day. The Parthenon is open Monday–Saturday 9AM–4:30PM, Sunday 12:30–4:30PM.
